Welcome to Kalmarton Avenue. It is the place for lies, deceit, backstabbing and lots more shocking stuff. It was originally called "The Sims" and followed 6 characters ( Tom, TJ, Brad, Katie, Tash and Lucy ) and 2 non-regular characters ( Jim and Karen )!
In season 7 (from September 2002-July 2003) Katie was killed off in the May Day explosion and Lucy returned to the show after last appearing in season 6. Jim and Karen both took breaks from the show after the first season, but Jim returned in season 5 and Karen in the following season. Tash also "died" in season 4 but made a comeback in the following season with an odd twist to the fact it was not her!!! In the last season (8) airing from August 2003, TJ left for Ireland for a new start with Jennie, Karen was killed off during the serial killer storyline and Katie returned for several episodes as a ghost due to Tash's depression. As well as that, it was revealed that Brad is actually his twin brother Rich (who "Brad" killed in season 4) but none of the residents knew.
Now in its' 9th season (August 2004-), Rich has been killed off (December 2004), Lucy left in June 2005 while Tom died in December 2005, meaning only Tash and Jim as original characters! There're not alone in the avenue as the Livingtons/Titans still remain as do other characters including Zarah, Josh and Gwen.
All the characters live in a small town just outside Nottingham called West Bridgford. Most of the characters live down the fictional private road, Kalmarton Avenue, which is off Willowton Street. The apartments are down another road, Hunniworth Court, also off Willowton Street while the pub, the hotel and other shops are situated in the town.

DEATHS DUE TO SERIAL KILLER STORYLINE (AS OF JANUARY 2004):
1. Cat Reid (January 2004 - killed in her home after unwittingly letting the serial killer in)
2. Reshma Rama (January 2004 - discovered the killer's identity but was stabbed trying to tell Tara, survived but was killed in the hospital when the killer came in dressed as a doctor)
3. Marvyn (February 2004 - unknown cause of death, discovered in the park, had apparantly been dead several weeks... where had his body been kept?)
4. Vanessa Williams (February 2004 - pushed off the church tower by the killer to her death)
5. Sam Titan (February 2004 - not the intended victim, Sam was out walking and witnessed Dani being attacked and went to save her, but came face to face with the serial killer and didn't survive)
6. Sarah-Jane Erb/Livington (March 2004 - having been suspected as the serial killer, the young doctor decided to clear her name by investigating Resh's murder. Uncovering crucial evidence, she arranged to meet with someone, who was the serial killer, and after leaving a note and secretly recording the meeting, her body was soon found)
7. Amy Griffiths (March 2004 - finding the note left by Sarah-Jane, Amy went to the graveyard and recovered the tape and watched it, and saw who the killer was. As she went for help, she was attacked in the mansion and fell from some railings to her death)
8. Dani Tubb (April 2004 - she survived the first attack, although Sam was murdered, and suffered amnesia of the night, although her memory returned just as she planned to return to live in America and in the panic of seeing Stuart, she didn't see the traffic lights change and a truck hit her car, killing her)
9. Karen Huntington (April 2004- she went to pray in the church for the killings to stop after Dani's funeral but when Jim found her, she was dead, it turned out she'd been poisoned)
10. Raphael Tirnavos (August 2004- an unknowing Raphael saw serial killer Stuart and his accomplice Rich talking outside and heard their conversation and they killed him so he wouldn't say anything)
11. Tara Elliot (September 2004- already suspicious of "Brad", Tara followed him during the masked ball party at his home and confronted him with the facts. He stabbed her just as Stuart entered and she died knowing the truth)
12. Jennie Beattie (October 2004- having caught Rich, a fire ripped through the Tubb house, trapping the children and a heroic Jen rescued them, only to collaspse when she got outside and die in TJ's arms)
