TASH POULTON- She's a character who has had much attention from men- she dated Carl Livington but ended up falling for his brother Noel. She used to date Joe, Katie's ex and was "dead" when she died of terminal cancer. However, she came back in 2001 and it was revealed that she had been living in America as a soap actress since the year the group split after Brad and Lucy's departure and an imposter had been taking over her life. Her and Katie weren't as close as they used to be and after dealing with an obsessive fan, she was dating her old co-star Eric who returned to England to see his family and be with her although she discovered his cheating ways and has since set up her own talent agency. She was dating Andy, Katie's ex and ended up being distant from her best friend further. She believed she was pregnant and Andy agreed to marry her but on the eve of her wedding, she discovered it was a false alarm and went to tell Andy but saw him with Karen but married her anyway to trap him. On their return from honeymoon, she pretended to lose the baby but Andy died on May Day in the shopping centre. Her and Katie renewed their friendship but she was devastated when her best friend was killed on May Day. In November 2003, both her dad and brother died within weeks of each other and adding to the trauma she's experienced earlier in the year, she suffered from severe depression and even saw Katie again. She got herself committed to sort herself out but returned having sorted out her life. She was living with Zarah and Mindi but kicked Zarah out due to her lies and had an affair with married man Vincent. When it came out, she discovered she was pregnant but bitter wife Lauren pushed her down the stairs and she lost the baby. She is currently seeing Jack Fisher.

JIM HUNTINGTON- He used to live in the old neighbourhood with the group and lived with his wife Karen. However, he did have an affair with Katie and arrived back in the neighbourhood in 2001 and got back together with Katie, since his divorce from Karen although things have ended there and he was sleeping with his new roommate Stephanie. However, he got back together with Katie but continued to sleep with Stephanie until Katie found out and dumped him. He dumped Stephanie after finding out she was a criminal and reunited with his ex-wife Karen but she was cheating on him. Jim found out on May Day but was injured by some rubble and was in hospital. He also owns the nightclub with Sam and the two have plans for a casino. He and Karen got closer again although Tash spent time helping him after his injuries from May Day and then remarried on Christmas Day 2003 after Karen has found out she is pregnant. He was devastated when his wife and unborn child were murdered in April 2004 by Stuart and begun seeing Heather but she dumped him. He was with Emma Hallet but had deeper feelings for her stepmum Lauren. When the truth came out, Jim finished with Emma but Lauren's games played him to the extreme and he ended things. He's just opened a cafe with Robbie.

HEATHER ELLIS- The original bad girl who arrived in season 2 returned after being in jail when she was, in fact, innocent for once. She returned for revenge mainly on Gwen and ready to stir up lots of trouble as she had money invested in the Titan business. She got together with Noel, which split up his family as news of their relationship spread. She has also had a fling with Sam Titan, Noel's half brother, just before her wedding to Noel which never happened in December 2001 (although her and Sam have had feelings for each other for years) and after that revealtion, she was dating Sam and got pregnant, the father turned out to be Sam. She was secretly scheming with Stuart about getting hold of Titan and also gave birth to a baby boy which she named Douglas after Doug. She was injured in the May Day explosion and left in a coma. After Stuart changed their plans, she got angry and revealed everything during his and Gwen's wedding. She also sent her ex-husband Mike out of England with lots of money as he could have told Gwen about her past life as a prostitute and liar. Gwen got her child Douglas after blackmailing her over that news as she didn't look after her baby properly. She set up Fidelity, a fashion company and got back together with Sam. He was murdered in February 2004 and she started seeing widower Jim after his wife's murder but she ended it after she was involved in a carjacking and now she's acting the way she used to. She stole Max King from Gwen but saw Joey Tirnavos behind his back. However when Max found out, she hit him over the head and left him to die. He survived and blackmailed her into marrying him and giving him 50% of Fidelity and she left Joey to rot in prison for her crime. Learning about Max's heart condition, she had sex with him and refused to give him his pills and he died. Pretending to be the sad widow, she was stunned to learn the documents she signed for Max actually included her house and he has given that to his daughter Eva and Gwen his 50% of Fidelity. She confronted her past by finding the daughter she thought was stillborn but was really adopted and her daughter Ally killed her father Bill and she had to help her cover up the murder. She has given birth to a baby boy named Charlie and told Odey he's the father as they're in a relationship but really the baby is Max's. His solicitor John has been blackmailing her and she pushed him down the stairs and he's in a coma. After recovering, she paid him off but faced trouble from a corrupt policeman named Cross who destroyed her relationship with Odey by exposing Charlie's real father. In trying to destroy him, her daughter Ally fell for him leading to him trying to kill Vincent but the plan backfired and Ally was killed in an explosion with Odey. Heather mourned her daughter and killed Cross in revenge. After crossing paths with Vincent, Heather vanished mysteriously from the avenue leaving her children with Gwen. GWEN LIVINGTON- She is Brooke and Sam's mum as well as being mother to Noel and Carl ( her sons from her second marriage ). She is married to Doug, her second husband, and the two are very happy. She has been trying to investigate the aliens but she ended up getting abducted. She is very rich and her old enemy Heather Titan, Victor's younger wife, has returned to the neighbourhood and they are rivals since Heather has destroyed her family. Earlier in 2002, she paid Carl's girlfriend Lisa to leave the neighbourhood since she was unsuitable for Carl. Her new work collaegue Stuart who was replacing Doug liked her and they slept together but she tried to get back with Doug and Carl was mad at her after discovering she paid Lisa to leave and then Doug suffered a fatal heart attack after discovering her secret relationship with Stuart and died in November 2002. She planning to marry Stuart in June 2003 but on her wedding day discovered he was secretly paid by Heather to get control of Titan. She was diagnoised with cancer in March 2003 but has beaten it, although she recorded a tape saying that Carl's natural father wasn't Doug, but Richard Harrison after Patricia told her in January 2003. Heather tried to blackmail her into giving her Titan but it failed and Gwen got custody of Douglas. She has had to cope since her son Sam's murder in early 2004 and being held hostage by killer Stuart. By November, she was trying to get her life together again but had a fear of leaving the house which she conquered. She dated Max King but Heather stole him off her and she had to deal with his death. In his will, he left her his 50% shares in Fidelity. She is currently at war with Vincent Hallet as she knows he played a role in her daughter's murder in Feb 2006 and is resorting to destroy his family as hers is destroyed; her son Noel has left also. She has fallen for Callum's dad Steve and they're engaged. CARL LIVINGTON- He is a doctor and his old rival Scott Richards was jealous of him. He used to go out with Tash but she admitted she fancied his brother Noel so he was angry and dumped her. She begged for a second chance but he said no. He dated Molly and two-timed her with her friend Steph but she left to travel the world. He was dating Lisa Carling when Molly returned but he was still in love with Lisa until she was killed in a car crash as they planned to run away and marry secretly in May 2002. By the summer, he fell for Zarah, who listened to his problems. He is devastated over his dad's death. Over Christmas 2002, it was revealed he was taking sleeping tablets as he is scared of sleeping incase he dreamt of Doug or Lisa. His relationship with Zarah ended after he realised she still carried feelings for one of her ex-boyfriends. He began a relationship with new doctor Sarah-Jane but she left for America in July 2003 for the summer as part of her career and he proposed to her to get her to stay and she said no but when she returned in September, they got back together and married in November when he was diagnoised with leukemia but has had an operation to get rid of it. He also discovered his real father is Richard Harrison. In 2004 his wife was murdered by the serial killer but in November, he got his revenge by killing Stuart and he got away with it. He was shot over Christmas by Rich Tubb who returned to the avenue and left in a coma but recovered. Having stood up to yobs in July 2005, he was arrested for assault and has gone to the media for support and his charges were dropped. He is currently seeing Emma Hallet despite opposition from both families when it was revealed Emma knew Vincent was behind Brooke's murder and they're married. ZARAH MISTRY- Reshma's over protective mate who tried to warn her about drugs. She found herself in grave danger from Alex and Lucy but with them gone, she can get back to a normal life. She has also been under a love spell. She was trapped by Lucy who had returned for revenge and is now trying to get her life back on track after being kidnapped again for revenge but her life is better now as a modelling career and she almost had anoxeria. She has begun dating Carl Livington after they became close as she comforted him over Lisa's death but she discovered in December 2002 that he has been taking sleeping pills. She met her old flame Jag again and they dated for a while after her split with Carl. She fell out with Resh after learning she slept with Jag years ago but they have made up. She and Resh went to India in July 2003 to film a Bollywood movie and she found love with her co-star Ranjeet and they returned at Christmas and got engaged. However, after Resh's murder in January 2004, her life changed and she finished with Ranjeet. She won the Miss West Bridgford beauty pageant in July 2004. She finally realised Robbie is the one for her but lied to be with him and was dumped when he found out. Having lost her friends, she tried to win them back in January 2005 by faking her kidnapping but it backfired. She started seeing Jag again but the fact he was now a father ended their relationship. She has feelings for her friend Callum but when he rejected her, she started seeing his friend Harley but he raped her in March 2006. She has discovered she's pregnant with his child but doesn't believe in abortion. After leaving Callum, she returned to the neighbourhood in August to get back with him and moved in. She gave birth in December to Hollie but in January 2007 Callum was forced to leave for murdering his mum's abusive boyfriend and Zarah couldn't live on the run. MELINDA "MINDI" ALVERSON-GRIFFITHS- She is Tom's American friend and is best mates with Dani and Melissa. She and Tom are married and in October 2002 gave birth to their first child Anthony. The two have adopted a boy named Louis and a girl named Ellie. She and Dani run the local hair salon. She was recently upset over Dani's trauma at discovering Brad was Marissa's father. She tried to find her daughter Ellie who vanished before Christmas 2002 but found she was dead. She put in a complaint against the local doctor as he was constantly rude to her and gave Louis the wrong medication but her complaint fell through. In December 2003, she was diagnoised with glandular fever and felt threatened by Kate, after learning Tom lost his virginity to her at college. Their marriage suffered throughout 2004 and she learnt of Tom's affair which led to their divorce. She began living with Tash and Zarah and had an internet romance with Robbie (but the pair were unaware of each other's identities). She disowned Zarah after she lied to be with Robbie but is now with him and coping with Tom's death. The pair split up for a brief spell due to his devious long-lost son Lawrence but they are now married after three attempts to try and marry. ROBBIE LYONS- He was the owner of "Robbie's Diner" but had to shut down due to financial reasons and brought the local pub instead. He was dating Becky but things ended in May 2002 but they were reunited in October 2002 and married a month later. During a raid on the pub, he was injured but is okay now. On May Day 2003, he found his wife injured in the shopping centre and when nothing could be done to save her, he stayed with her until she died. In the summer, he begun a short-lived romance with Vanessa but at Christmas, the pair got closer again. She was murdered by serial killer Stuart in April 2004 and he fell for Zarah, but she didn't know and only saw him as a friend so he turned to romance on the internet. While on there, he started talking to "Hot Chick" (who was really Mindi) but Zarah pretended to be her. On Christmas Day he discovered the truth and is now with Mindi. Their planned wedding on Boxing Day 2005 didn't go ahead due to Tom's death and they're planning a summer wedding. He has also opened a cafe with Jim and been approached by a boy claiming to be his son. He and Mindi married at Christmas. JOSH KINGSLEY- He is Molly's cousin and has been sent to live with her. He is slightly badly behaved and has taken his GCSEs and Karen helped to tutor him and the two have been secretly dating but she dumped him before his 17th birthday. He was briefly together with Ellie and then dated college girl Claire but Ellie's foreign exchange student Nathalie ruined that. He had a secret relationship with Ellie behind her boyfriend Luke's back but he knows and Ellie went missing, and Joe was revealed as her killer. He has taken over his cousin Molly's apartment after her murder and is living with girlfriend Rebecca and is a lot more responsible now. In 2004, Josh had to cope with becoming a father (and protecting his family from drug dealers) and married Rebecca but also encountered problems with a woman from uni. His parents divorced in 2005 with his dad facing prison for fraud and his mum saw a younger man. In Nov 2005 he drunkenly cheated on his wife with her friend and caught an STD. As the divorce proceedings commenced, they decided to try again despite her having a relationship with his friend Conor. However in February 2007 his beloved wife was murdered after getting shot by someone after Claire Fisher. CARRIE LAWRENCE- Another American who is Mindi and Britt's cousin and was kidnapped along with Brittany. Britt recently discovered Carrie's secret that she's been disowned by her family. Carrie works at the local bank and waiteressing at the hotel. Her obsessive friend Christie visited her but she got her to leave after finally standing up to her. She is dating Harvey now and he proposed to her but vanished in the May Day explosion but he survived. They were planning their wedding but were on a budget due to lack of money but Harvey got a loan. In August 2003, she received half a million pounds from Stuart when she illegally hacked into Heather's bank account for him so he could trace Mike as she was desperate for money. She and Harvey married (although they were investigated by the fraud squad but Gwen helped them) but Harvey was mad she was that desperate for money. She is now doing a beauty therapist course and learnt how to live independantly after Harvey went to prison for 3 months for assault. In July 2004 she learnt she had cancer but she beat it and learnt she was pregnant. She was convinced Lucy was faking her pregnancy and this was confirmed when she stole her baby in June 2005. After her baby died of cot death in Oct 2005, she discovered she was pregnant again at Christmas but when her cancer returned in Feb 2006, she refused treatment as she didn't want to harm the baby. She was sent to prison in October 2006 for apparantly killing her two babies but released in February 2007 after evidence showed it was cot death and the doctor's findings were wrong. She is dealing with Harvey's betrayal. HARVEY MARTIN- Harvey was on the show back in 2001 and dated Laura but temporaily left due to his sexist attitudes. He returned in summer 2002 to stop Laura marrying Odey but failed. By Christmas, he began a relationship with Carrie and it was her that changed him. They married in September 2003. He has a violent temper and he went to prison for 3 months in 2004 for assaulting a man who fancied his wife. He learnt the love of his life has cancer but after defeating it, he prepared to become a father. He and Carrie had to deal with Lucy stealing their child and then its death but Carrie's pregnant again. However she has cancer and is refusing treatment and Harvey desperately wants to save her. He stuck by his wife during her imprisonment but developed feelings for Sally and they kissed; he is now trying to repair his marriage. VINCENT HALLET: Arriving in January 2005 with wife Lauren and his children Emma and Dan from a previous marriage, Vincent is a businessman prepared to do anything to win (even involving himself with gangsters). He treats his wife badly and has had an affair with Tash. He tried to help his son by hiring a man to kill Noel but he missed and killed his son's wife Brooke. Covering up the evidence, only his family knows and Gwen is determined to discover the truth. He is technically still married to Joan but is divorcing her to remarry Lauren (she didn't know the truth till Gwen told her) and Lauren's left him. They got back together when he blackmailed her after she stabbed him but she left him again determined not to be his prisoner. EMMA HALLET: She is a very kind but timid woman who managed to track down her long lost mother Joan in May 2005 but discovered her dad played a role in getting rid of her mum. She dated Jim who she adored (even trying to ignore the fact he loved her stepmum) and after their split, tried to kill herself. She has found a new friend and boyfriend in Carl Livington and they married in October 2006. JACK FISHER: Arriving in West Bridgford in Nov 2005 with son Conor, Jack is a chef working at Zorbas and previously accused of killing his terminally ill wife. He is currently with Tash and has had surgery to a brain condition (AVM) that he has. He and Tash married at Christmas 2006 and she's pregnant. He is dealing with his son Conor's murder which his daughter Claire was responsible for! EDIE WILLIAMS-KING: She arrived in West Bridgford to take care of her niece Lindsay and has struggled with motherhood and being a role model. SALLY PRITCHARD: The Pritchards arrived in November 2006 and celebrated winning the lottery although Sally had kicked her abusive husband out. She is currently looking for a job and trying to deal with the trauma of learning her husband abused their daughter when she was younger. She has got closer to Harvey who is helping her. ANNA PRITCHARD: Anna is at uni with Josh and Conor but has a secret: her dad Ethan abused her as she grew up! Before moving to the avenue, she confined it in her ex-boyfriend who was the manager of the pub she worked at. Confronting her father, she saw a counsellor but is now pregnant after an affair with married man Rhys. JOHNNY AND ALEX PRITCHARD: They are twins both working part time at Le Monde and go to college; although Johnny enjoys cooking and Jack's trying to get him enrolled in catering school. Their dad's return has confused the pair as they don't know what he did to Anna but when they found him, they left him to die. Alex is struggling with drug problems while Johnny has come out to his family. CYNTHIA PRITCHARD: Former cell mate to Carrie, Cynthia means well but has a nasty temper!
