May 31st 2007- Vincent Hallett's murder suspects
After 2 and a half years, Vincent Hallett will be murdered during the double episode summer finale on June 13th...but who kills him and how? Here's the main suspects:
EMMA HALLETT-LIVINGTON: Vincent's daughter who he clearly adores but has destroyed in recent weeks. She clearly hates her father now...will she resort to murder?
CARL LIVINGTON: Emma's husband, he was responsible for his half-sister's murder. Has previously murdered serial killer Stuart.
RHYS: Local cop, nearly had his reputation ruined by Vincent. He stole his wife!
JACK FISHER: Caused property problems for him and made him leave his business and have to start again.
KATIE D ADAMS: Tried to kill...simple enough!
LAUREN HALLETT: Stabbed him and left him for dead last New Year's Eve...will she finish the job?
HEATHER ELLIS-TITAN: What did Vincent do to her before she left in January? Is it enough to resort to murder (although she's done it a few times now!)?
CYNTHIA PRITCHARD: A former petty theft criminal but he did try to kill her brother and she's protective of her family.

April 2nd 2007 - There's murder afoot this summer!
The show is taking a four week break this summer and will be ending on an explosive and fast paced double episode: look out for a big murder whodunnit, Tash giving birth, the return of an old favourite which jeapordises a couple's happiness, shock news for newcomer Zach and Gwen and Steve's wedding!
But who's being murdered? As many will have guessed by now, Vincent Hallet, the show's resident bad boy for the past 2 and a half years will be killed off in the double episode on June 13th and it's now going to be pleasant. "The guy's been evil ever since he arrived...from the way he treated Lauren to whatever he did to Heather. By the time Vincent leaves this June, virtually every resident will have a motive to kill him." The storyline is expected to run for several months and will coincide with the return of an old favourite who many thought was dead, Heather's return and a special guest recurring stint by Lauren Hallett. After all, she did stab him at New Years'! Join us nearer the time to look at the residents' motives! It'll be the biggest whodunnit yet, even bigger than the 2003/2004 serial killer storyline.
February 17th 2007 - Another old return to the avenue
With Erin and Rob back in the avenue and proving popular, another old popular character is returning to the avenue this summer and it's someone you'll never guess! Expect the storyline to coincide with the murder of another...and it's a major character being bumped off.
Meanwhile expect Carrie to explode when she is released from prison this month and not everyone will survive the problems soon to hit the avenue.
December 12th 2006 - 2007 preview!
So what can people expect from Kalmarton Avenue in the New Year? There are several big stories already ongoing as the residents welcome in 2007: the brutal stabbing in the closing minutes of 2006 will be the focus of the first week on the avenue, Heather will be leaving at the end of the second week of January quietly from the avenue but she's meeting Vincent first before catching a plane and things will go wrong for her...after 7yrs, will she finally get her comeuppance? Callum will also be departing at the end of Jan/early Feb and his departure will definitely not be quiet: the young model will be dealing with looking after a child that isn't his as well as try to protect his mum from her abusive boyfriend. Expect tears as he goes to tragic lengths to help those he loves and a tearful goodbye with Zarah.
Expect a possible return for Alison if she's popular; Carrie will be back in a few months when there's a possible ground for her appeal; more complications in the Vincent/Lauren/Jim love triangle; a secret romance between two of the avenue's younger residents; a possible coupling between two unexpected characters; and Tash's mental state gets bad as she nears the end of her pregnancy (Katie will be back!) and there will be big problems for her and Jack. Meanwhile, while Claire has been a good girl lately, 2007 will see her confront her past and go back to her old ways when she's blackmailed! Also expect a few new characters and a return from an old character fans loved.
October 5th 2006 - New family to cause trauma for the avenue!
Expect tears, tantrums and fireworks later this month when a new family, the Pritchards, move into the avenue into the old Tirnavos home. The family have recently won the lottery and despite long-suffering mum Sally not wanting the money to change them, the rest of the family are determined to enjoy life! The family aren't the nicest either; daughter Cynthia is in prison for theft (she'll be bumping into Carrie!), first year uni student Anna wants to use money and fame to get into the VIP places while twins Johnny and Alex are trying to get through their A Levels.
September 18th 2006 - Heather is LEAVING!
It's been revealed today that Heather Ellis-King will be departing the avenue in January 2007 meaning she'll have been on the show for 7 years. Throughout her time on the show, Ms Ellis-King has been involved in 3 murders, had numerous affairs, boyfriends and resorted to blackmail and lies on many occasions. While details of her departure have not been revealed, details suggest she is only having a break and will return later in the year but nothing's confirmed.
September 10th 2006 - What does the Autumn hold for our residents?
With summer almost at an end, what does the rest of the year hold for some of the Kalmarton Avenue residents?
Heather = Having lost her daughter due to her scheming, Heather finds herself looking back at her past in order to make amends so look out for another side of Heather to be seen. Having killed Cross for losing her daughter, Heather finds herself looking for forgiveness. What about her relationship with Vincent? She's looking for comfort but he is still after his ex so don't expect a rosy future.
Carrie/Harvey = The storyline that's been building up for nearly 2 years finally explodes at the end of September when Carrie and Harvey lose their second son, Daniel, after finding him in his cot. The rest of their year does not seem rosy for the pair as Carrie is arrested for her sons' murder, Harvey has to decide whether to stand by his wife while Mindi struggles with her conscience after Carrie, earlier this week on screen, believed she'd hurt her first son Joshua and wonders whether Carrie's post-natal depression made her do it.
With rumours of a double Christmas wedding, more relationships and the resolution of several will they-won't they relationships, Kalmarton Avenue will be far from quiet! Will Guy join Maria when she leaves mid-September?
June 26th 2006 - Innocents caught in the Heather/Cross/Vincent crossfire!
With this summer's hottest storyline involving Heather/Cross/Ally, the show is preparing to film the story's dramatic conclusion later this summer and while details are sketchy, it is known that a house will be blown up with several residents trapped in the rubble: 'As Vincent opens his latest venture, several residents attend the opening but are left fighting for their lives when one character seeks revenge on another. With lives hanging in the balance, Heather and Ally are trapped in the bathroom and must work together to escape while Callum, Harvey and Tash find that one must sacrifice themselves to save the others.'
June 25th 2006 - Kalmarton Avenue Sneak Summer Preview!
The residents of the avenue have a long, hot summer to endure... For Maria and Guy, time is running out for them as they prepare for university but will they leave together or apart? And what of Maria's beloved grandmother Lanie? Another big story is the Romeo&Juliet of the avenue, Carl and Emma, who have been ripped apart by their families' hatred but will they get back together? 'Deep down they love each other but family loyalty is important to both of them and they don't like lying to others.' Does that mean Emma will turn to Callum again? Will Carl find new love?
The Heather/Cross/Ally storyline is also coming to a close in July which will see the end of Heather and Ally's relationship...for the time being. 'You can expect them to be drawn together again at some point in the future as they need each other.' And there will be a softer side to Vincent this summer when his estranged "wife" Lauren returns to the avenue with some surprising news for him...she's getting married! Does this mean he and superbitch Heather won't be getting together any time soon? 'They are both equals in terms of their determination to succeed, how knows what the future holds?'
The battered and bruised relationship between Mindi and Robbie looks set to be remended this summer but can Robbie's son Lawrence really be trusted? 'There's too much jealousy between him and Louis for things to properly settle down...so it's likely Lindsay will be caught in the crossfire.' And for Mindi's cousin Carrie, she will be forced to tell her beloved husband Harvey that her cancer has spread as she prepares to give birth...but will she deliver a healthy baby? And can she beat the cancer? 'The pair are soulmates and belong together but you know happiness is not something both can get easily.'
June 25th 2006 - Who's staying and who's going
It's that time of year when contracts are up for renewal but it's already confirmed along with (from last year's big contract!) Harvey and Carrie, Mindi, Robbie, Tash and Jack are all sticking around for another year! Vincent, Emma, Carl and Gwen have also all resigned for an undisclosed amount of time but rumours are Heather may not be resigning and exit the avenue in a blaze of glory later this year! Other characters likely to remain on the avenue for a little while longer include Josh, Jim and Odey while the futures of Guy, Maria, Rebecca and Callum are all looking bleak along with the confirmed Lanie departure!
April 4th 2006 - Kalmarton Avenue Sneak Spring Preview!
Now into 2006 and the show's 6th year, the show only has 2 original characters left (Tash and Jim) and both will be emboiled in romantic storylines this Spring! For Jim, he will be getting over previous loves and looking to the future while Tash is unable to forget her past which could ultimately cost her a future with Jack Fisher.
Meanwhile after trying to kill her blackmailer John, Heather faces a difficult time waiting to see if he will come out of her coma. But when she finds a new friend in John's younger, money hungry wife, will she find an opportunity to make sure John never recovers? Will Odey ever find out he isn't really Charlie's father? With Detective Cross on her back, Heather will face a difficult spring as old enemies return to bring her down!
Since arriving in the neighbourhood in May 2000, Gwen has lost her ex-husband, second husband Doug, her eldest son Sam and more recently her daughter Brooke. Still mourning this loss, Gwen sets out for revenge this spring on Vincent Hallet who she knows was behind the murder. But is she getting in too deep when she starts getting romantically involved with the shady businessman?
Mindi and Robbie have had a stable relationship since getting together Christmas 2004 but this spring the pair will be struggling. Will the pair finally make it down the aisle? This spring Robbie has to struggle with taking care of his terminally ill ex-girlfriend Trish and eventually taking care of his son Lawrence. And how long will Mindi's truce with Edie last before the pair start bickering again? What else can Mindi do to help her cousin Carrie who continues to battle cancer?
Meanwhile the younger residents are equally struggling with life... Josh and Rebecca's reconciliation is strained as he struggles to deal with the fact he may not be her unborn baby's father, Maria struggles to take care of her ailing gran and Callum faces his past and goes looking for his father.
January 6th 2006- The year of backgrounds!
Following the "Callum" episode this week, plans for more double hander episodes will be in the works including a special "Jack and Conor" episode later this month. More characters' backgrounds will be explored throughout the year as well as special episodes focused on one particular family or group of residents.
This year will be big for secrets and lies. Bill's murder will continue to haunt Heather in physical ways she never expected and will her pregnancy nearing an end, John will return and her secret looks set to be revealed. The war between the Livington/Titans and Hallets will explode this year with a huge storyline expected.
September 16th 2005- Autumn Preview 2005
Kalmarton Avenue is nearing closer to the end of 2005 and its' 6th birthday but there's plenty of action for the residents. For Heather Ellis-King, her role in a murder along with her daughter Ally will leave her shocked and worried about Ally's emotions as she refuses to accept what she's done. Meanwhile, Ally will be causing more problems in the reconciliation of Guy and Maria and it seems they won't get back together for a while yet. Elsewhere, the disappearance of Noel Livington will lead to suspicion and possible murder charges as Gwen tries to find him. Carrie and Harvey Martin also have problems in their marriage and look for help while Josh is growing discontent with settling down so early. Will Zarah return with Luis? And Tom makes a shocking plead to his wife Kate: he wants to die!
July 6th 2005- Who's staying? Who's going? +UPDATED+
While last year was a big year for big arrivals and departures, this year has been more quiet down Kalmarton Avenue. However several characters will be leaving this year: Lucy leaves this month, Tom will be making a very dramatic departure over Christmas (with Kate to go early next year!) and his funeral will spell the return for some old residents (Naomi, Debz, TJ, Helen and Harry are so far confirmed ) while Noel will be off-screen for several months as of September after the events in Italy and his survival will be questioned.
As to those staying, Carrie and Harvey Martin are signed up till June 2007 (apparantly they are involved in one of the biggest stories in the show's history) while other characters such as Heather Ellis-King, Gwen Livington and Mindi Alverson are with us till at least June 2006 (no news about others yet!).
The only other characters known to be staying till at least June 2006 is Jim Huntington and the whole Hallet family (making them one of the few families in recent years to still all be on-screen after a year) because of the storyline involving Emma/Jim/Lauren/Vincent! This month, Lauren will be pregnant but is unsure of who the daddy is and this will result in big storylines for the group next year when she gives birth. Beware of innocent Emma though - there's nothing worse than a woman scorned!!!
January 30th 2005 - Shock plot for 2005 = An original character is leaving the show!
Last week, two storylines were mentioned which will be taking centre stage this year and now more details have emerged as to the characters involved! Firstly, a couple are going to be torn apart on Valentine's Day by an unexpected event and the consequences will be felt for the rest of the year. Now it's emerged that couple is Tom and Kate, as Tom is going to be killed off at the end of the year, most likely over Christmas when the show celebrates its' 6th birthday! He is going to be thrown from a horse next month and left paralysed and with respiratory problems, and his condition will deteriorate throughout the year and rumour is a euthanasia storyline is coming up for Christmas! Whether Kate will stay on the show is currently not known!
January 31st 2004 - Karen and Dani out, Tash takes a break
Latest news from the show confirms that Dani and Karen will be written out the show later this year as part of the big revamp happening over 2004! Both characters will be leaving in very dramatic fashion, both likely to die from the West Bridgford serial killer. Karen, an original character from the show's 1st season in 1999 who returned in 2002 during the 6th season, is leaving as her character has reached the end of its' shelf life! Throughout her time on the show, she has had an on/off relationship with Jim (they married over Christmas), tracked down the child she gave up for adoption and been involved with school-boy Josh. Meanwhile Dani has also reached the end of the line in terms of storylines for her since she arrived during the show's 4th season in 2001. She has had a stormy marriage to Brad, tried to conceive a child, she was stalked by her councellor and kidnapped while in Minnesota! Her finale is going to be very dramatic and will be a mix of several storylines, possibly paving the way for a Brad and Helen reconcillation! As well as that, Tash who returned to the show in Christmas 2001 after taking a break over that summer, will be taking a break in March due to her hectic storylines recently but will be back before the year is out!
January 24th 2004 - Serial killer storyline kills 10
10 of the show's most established characters have been confirmed as leaving as part of the show's major serial killer storyline, a storyline that has been played since June 2003 but began to get stronger at the end of December. The storyline has been all planned out although details of who is leaving are not currently known, but the show's revamp using this storyline won't be completed until November, at the earliest.
It is known that the killer's identity will be revealed at the beginning of April after a major character is killed off and there will be a major development on the week commencing May 3rd when Gwen uncovers the killer with horrifying results. However, the storyline will continue with a startling revealtion during the season finale (due to air in July) which will have something to do with the show's past but it won't all be wrapped up until the beginning of season 9. Old characters will be returning for the storyline including TJ and Jennie but whether they will be victims is unclear.
Heather gets evil
2004 saw a kinder Heather as she fell in love and married his long time & on/off soulmate Sam Titan but her happiness was destroyed as he was brutally murdered for being at the wrong place at the wrong time, she was shot by serial killer Stuart when he tried to kill her and arch-enemy Gwen. As she enjoyed a romance with fellow widow Jim, she was carjacked and left beaten by the side of the road! This finally converted Heather back to the bad girl as she previously was and now this year, she's going to be badder than ever! So far she's stolen Gwen's boyfriend Max and is using him to help save her struggling company Fidelity and later this year she's going to kill him to get his money and get her current fling Joey sent to jail! She's also going to start taking cocaine as the past continues to get to her!
2003 Review
2003 has been one of the biggest years yet for storylines, here's some of the highlights from each month:
January - After a short Christmas break, the show returned as flashbacks showed that Resh got engaged to Vik, Ellie went missing, Debz killed her rapist Jake in self-defence and Heather gave birth. In the present, Brad and Dani started marriage councelling. Patricia Harrison returned to tell Gwen she knew Carl's biological father was his late husband Richard and not Doug. An appeal on tv was launched to find Ellie. Sarah-Jane showed up to expose Katie's father's girlfriend as a con-artist and started working at the hospital. Katie D returned to the neighbourhood to stop Jack but as a result, her sister Katie W was killed and Helen was also presumed dead after a car crash into a river. Mindi was put in the frame for Ellie's disappearance.
February - Debz's ex-boyfriend Ben went on a killing spree on Valentine's Day and killed her friends Molly and Dave. Brooke and Noel were somehow involved in Ellie's disappearance. Katie moved in with TJ. Katie D killed Jack after he attacked her and buried his body under a memorial statue. Gwen discovered she had breast cancer. Tom's old college friend Kate wanted them to make a movie together. Carl fell for Sarah-Jane after his split with Zarah and Dani's councellor started hitting on her. Andy and Karen noticed there was an attraction between them. Guy discovered his mum Cat was having an affair with his uncle Chris. Brit left for London as a job on stage. Heather's first husband Mike (whom no-one knew about) came back into her life!
March - Debz and Naomi left the neighbourhood to get away from bad memories while Brad and his family went on a holiday to Minnesota to clear their heads. Vanessa's memory returned from the crash before Christmas and remembered seeing Ellie with her husband Joe that night, leading to Joe confessing that he killed Ellie! Meanwhile, Brooke discovered she was pregnant with Stuart's child and tried to commit suicide as she felt so guilty for betraying her mum but TJ saved her and told everyone he was the father to protect her, which ruined his blossoming romance with Katie as it was obvious they liked each other. Gwen went into hospital to treat her cancer and made a videotape incase she died which included her revealing Carl's father. Robbie survived a burglary at the pub after he was hit over the head. Andy and Karen had an affair but Tash discovered she was pregnant and Andy agreed to marry her as it was his child. The Reid family was destroyed by news of Cat and Chris's affair.
April - Rebecca and Josh's relationship was getting more serious while Carl and Sarah-Jane began a relationship, although she was nervous as she hadn't had many before. Before her wedding, Tash discovered Andy was cheating on her and that she wasn't really pregnant but didn't want to lose him so went ahead with the ceremony. Tom and Kate were casting for the movie and Amy made herself known. Heather viewed Gwen's tape and blackmails her into giving her half of Titan's shares. Gwen was devastated and her and Stuart managed to dig up information about her past, including Mike, and she retreated from her plans. Guy ran away as his family broke down even more and lived on the streets, but was rushed to hospital when he fell ill. Leah set fire to Odey and Laura's house in the hope of injuring Laura but it was Odey who was actually inside! Leah's behaviour got mader!
May - TJ and Katie finally confessed their feelings for each other and he told her the truth about Brooke's baby. Tash made it look like she had lost the baby and Andy and Karen planned to run away together. On May Day, a plane exploded over West Bridgford injuring Harvey, Brooke, Kate and many more but Katie, Becky, Vik, Andy were among the dead. After the death of her son, Leah went crazy and killed Laura before committing suicide. During the funerals for the dead, Lucy came back to pay her respects and Zarah wanted revenge but Resh wasn't up to testifying against her and she was released. Stuart and Heather's scam against Titan was close to succeeding as Gwen and Stuart made wedding plans but Stuart was in love with both Gwen and Brooke and didn't want to hurt anyone. Robbie let Jill have custody of baby Jonathon. Cat left for Leeds to consider what her next plans were but returned just as Guy set Ian up with Vanessa. Heather brought Laura's fashion company. Rebecca discovered she was pregnant!
June - Cat tried to come in the way of Ian's feelings for Vanessa while Rebecca's pregnancy became public knowledge! Kate dated Karen's brother Jamie even though Amy liked him while Karen told Jim about her affair with Andy. On the day of her wedding, Gwen learnt from Heather about Stuart's affair with Brooke and all hell broke loose. Kate discovered Amy was actually Tom's sister but he had no idea. Zarah and Resh applied for a Bollywood film and Zarah met Ranjeet (a guy she met a few months ago) again. Carl was jealous by how much time Sarah-Jane was spending with another doctor. Odey and Lucy kissed. A body is found near Kalmarton Avenue.
July - Zarah and Resh left for filming in India. A devastated Amy found out about Kate and Jamie and threatened to quit the film, and moved into Tom's house and Mindi thought that she fancied Tom before everyone found it she was his sister. Brooke starts drinking again after Gwen refuses to see her. Heather and Stuart's scam has become public knowledge and he is unable to get a job so gets money from a newspaper by selling his story. As Noel and Katie D's relationship got more serious, she admitted to killing Jack. Karen agreed to tutor Guy and her and Jim got closer again, although Tash believed she had feelings for him. Sarah-Jane agreed to go with Dr Watson to America for the summer to attend seminars as her romance with Carl got worst and even though he proposed, she left. TJ rushed to Ireland after learning Jennie was expecting his child and had gone into labour.
August - While Josh and Rebecca looked ahead to parenthood, Tom reeled from Amy's revealtion. Brooke was devastated when TJ announced he was leaving to live with Jennie in Ireland and sold his cafe/library to Heather who planned to convert it into a bar. Mindi's doctor gave Louis the wrong medication and she went to the medical board about him which caused problems. Noel couldn't accept what Katie D had done while Carl was depressed after Sarah's departure. Even though she had an accident last year meaning she couldn't have children, Karen discovered she was pregnant after sleeping with Jim. As the hot weather continued, Brad collaspsed during a pool party and it turned out he had a heart condition which could get fatal if he got too stressed. Heather launched her fashion company, Fidelity. Vanessa and Robbie got closer but he didn't want to forget Becky. The residents attended the sentencing of the men who blew up the plane on May Day.
September - On her wedding day to Harvey, Carrie was investigated by the fraud squad for the amount of her money in her account (she had illegally helped out Stuart and Gwen in destroying Heather) but Gwen lied to protect her. Sarah-Jane returned to town but had a new boyfriend, and Carl was furious. She dumped him to be with Carl though. Kate dated Les, a tv presenter, but got involved in drugs. When she discovered she was pregnant, he paid her to have an abortion. Karen became baby Douglas' nanny. Brad and Dani tried IVF treatment in the hope of having a child. Amy finally got together with Jamie but he cheated on her. Jess and Graham Luxton moved into Hunniworth Court.
October - Lucy and Odey finally got together but Kate led her back to her drug addiction. Katie D befriended Jess but discovered that Graham was beating her. Ian and Robbie fought for Vanessa and Ian lied to get together with Vanessa. Carrie and Harvey returned from their honeymoon but he was still cross she lied to him about the money. Rebecca and Josh used a pretend baby to see if they were ready to be parents. Brooke gave birth to a baby girl and named her Mia and decided not to give her up for adoption. On Halloween, baby Anthony took an overdose from finding one of Lucy's drugs. Katie D begged Jess to leave Graham.
November - Heather and Sam got back together. The Titan/Livington family were reunited for a short time when Carl was diagnoised with leukemia. When there was no hope of finding a donor for a transplant, Gwen told him about his real father, which destroyed the family. Paul Harrison was a match and a few days before the operation, Carl and Sarah-Jane got married. On Bonfire night, Graham went after Jess and Katie D and Jess accidentally killed him in self-defence. Anthony survived the overdose and Mindi immediately blamed Lucy, who told Odey it was Amy. Karen managed to tell Vanessa about Ian's lies and she finished with him. Ian left for a new job in London. Tash's dad and brother died within a few weeks of each other and she was devastated. Jack's body was finally uncovered and Noel was arrested as he was there when the body was found.
December - Tom and Kate had their film premiere in London and she told him how much she liked him and he tried to resist temptation but they kissed on New Years' Eve. His wife Mindi was diagnoised with glandular fever. Katie D and Noel sold the hotel to Lady Marilyn as they needed money to fund Noel's trial as he refused to let Katie D confess. Cat and Stuart's romance hotted up but she was murdered on New Years' Eve when she unwittingly let the West Bridgford serial killer into her home. Odey showed everyone he could walk without his wheelchair but found Lucy and Kate doing drugs. Tash's depression got worst and on Christmas Eve, she saw Katie in her home but it was only in her mind. Brad and Dani went to Poole and found Helen, who had been presumed dead since January, and brought her home although Dani wasn't happy about it. Jess was found not guilty as she pleaded self-defence and left to spend Christmas with her family.
